UT: The PSY Levels Updated: 19-Aug-2005

Psyboyo Unreal Tournament Levels ::.

These levels are made by me on 3D modeling programs, and then passed as several brushes (DXF) onto UnrealED. It's a nice method to people that are comfortable with 3D modeling, making it possible to do REALLY good levels this way.

Check out all my maps! I love simplicity Vs coolness and playability, I'll always try to make really fast levels, slow levels suck!

UPDATED 19 AUG 2005:

Many thanks to Kram Nazrotap and Andrew "Problem Child" for reporting broken links in this page! A little bonus was sent to your e-mails! ^^

Level Name: PsyKart II
Version: 2.0
Release date: January 2001
Author: Marco Antonio (a.k.a. The Psycho, Psyboyo)
Email: psyboyo@hotmail.com
Website: sprito.com
Description:

This level is my tribute to the 'Block Fort' battle level of Nintendo 64's Mario Kart. I love that game, and if you know it, then I'm sure you'll love this! This second version as been enhanced in several small details, sound, GFX and AI.

PsyKart version One was selected as one of the best ten entries in 'The Great Leveller' Competition on PCGAMER (Future Publishing April 2000 issue) put up by GT Interactive and judged by Epic Games. The results came on August 2000 issue (no 85) and the selected Levels burned on CD and DVD. This new (final) version is far more polished and it's dedicated to all readers of PCGAMER that emailed me after the selection. Thank you all!

"This map is pretty freaky. It reminds me of Mario 64 crossed with Quake II - just too weird! The simple design makes for some pretty hectic fragging, with bots jumping out from all over the place. I like the way all the platforms had sloping walkways; running in all directions makes it easy for the hunter to become the hunted pretty quickly." - PcGamer, issue 85, August 2000.

Tip: If you have a fast computer, and want a good laugh, play up to 32 players at the same time! The carnage is guaranteed. Pull down the command line and type:

addbots 32

But: if you have a REALLY FAST MONSTER COMPUTER try increase the number even more! If the game detects good hardware, you can go way beyond 200 players (!!!) and at some point it WILL CRASH !!!LOL!!!
